Why we built it

The UK independent dealer scene is enormous — thousands of small-to-mid forecourts, with the cars buyers actually want at the prices buyers actually pay. But they’re hard to find. The big listings sites are pay-to-rank: the dealer with the biggest advertising budget rises to the top, not the dealer with the right car for you. And the filter UIs don’t express the questions most buyers are actually asking.

Carous AI is the answer to that. One chat, every dealer in the network, results matched by how well they fit what you said — not by who paid for the slot.

How we make money

Dealers pay a flat platform fee to be in the Carous network. We don’t take commission on individual sales, we don’t charge buyers anything, and we don’t bias search results based on payment. Every result you see is matched purely on fit.

When you tap View on a result, you land on the dealer’s own page and they handle the rest. Carous AI doesn’t intercept the lead, doesn’t charge a referral fee, and doesn’t insert itself between you and the dealer. We’re the front door — once you’re through it, you’re in the dealer’s hands.

Carous is a UK-based company building digital infrastructure for independent car dealers — websites, dashboards, AI tools, and the shared Carous AI front door.
